editing existing or pasted-from-Word text

Recently, when I try to edit my pages, the text jumps to the end of the page as soon as I hit the keyboard which means I can’t see what I’m editing. What’s going on and how do I stop it happening please?

Chrome version 36.0.1985.125 m although it seems to be updating as I check it. You think it might be a recent update that’s doing it? Off to check your link, thanks for that.

Never seen any beep beep boops so I’m lucky. I have no external image selection options any more though, and no suggested links. Inserting images has always been a nightmare – or at least keeping them stable has because they just rearrange themselves all the time. Damn – this outfit used to be so good!
