Editing Factors on a wordpress.com page for work
-
Hello,
I have a personal wordpress blog, but I am writing about a page for my employer. We have a website with multiple ‘factors.’ How can I edit the written content for these factors and save the changes without changing the content of the live website. I see an ‘update’ button, but I do not see anything about saving a draft.
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
The best option would be to copy the current content and add it to a new post or page, then edit it, and save that as a draft.
Saving as a draft will save the material but not let it publish to the site.
I hope that helps!

I don’t see that option. The blog I need help with is not the myjourneysf blog. It is a wordpress business website. It’s not really a blog.

Thanks @myjourneysf, this is an individual WordPress.org installation hosted by Amazon, rather than one of the sites hosted here at WordPress.com.
WordPress.com (the hosting service) and WordPress.org (the free software project) are quite different.
But I’ll bet if you search / ask in the forums at https://wordpress.org/support you’ll find some good options for allowing you to save post revisions prior to actually publishing them.
Good luck!

Well, I cant login to that support site even if I use the login credentials used for my work site.
