Editing freezes up , everything slow , need hours to edit a page!

    __ I created a similar topic months ago but I could not find the forum again to check the reply until today. I never received an e-mail of the happiness engineer.

    Today I just wanted to add a friend’s website to one of my pages , it has taken me more than an hour to insert a photo and add a link. Also the ? (help button) in the right bottom corner freezes up). I had to google to get here !

    I have this problem for a while already but never found the time to make a complaint. First of all what happens a lot that when I click on a page it opens as a preview instead of in edit mode.
    Or .. the I get a message the the page url cannot be found.
    I refresh or click to another option in the menu and then try again. After several attempts it allows me to edit. If I then go and want to edit another page it starts all over again.
    Also on top of that in editing mode it sometimes stops auto saving and gives a red message that it could not be saved , really frustrating.
    I hope there is a fix.

    It looks like Kathleen emailed you back on June 9th. By the sound of things that email never reached you. Please double check a couple places.

    1. The email spam filter
    2. Other email folders
    3. Make sure that WordPress.com is included in your trusted contacts
    4. Search the email account for that note
    5. Double check you are looking in the email address associated with your account. That’s the one at https://wordpress.com/me/account/
    6. Verify that you are allowing us to contact you in the settings at
    https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/updates
