Editing headers

  I want to make my own header picture, I was just wondering if anyone has done this who has no great software. Would it look too crummy made in paint or does anyone know if theres any free software to get a better finish. Thanks.

  Yes there are free desk top apps you can use and there are free online image editing programs you can use to create headers, optimize the images and presize them prior to uploading them into the custom header image uploader.
