Editing heading font
-
Hi. I’m trying to edit the main heading on my blog — specifically, I need to change the font from serif to sans serif, the colour from green to a specific red, and the variant from small caps to normal.
This is the code I’ve put in:
/*main heading*/
h1
{
color:red;
font-family:arial;
font-variant:normal;
}… but for some reason, the only change that works is the variant. I get a sans serif typeface, but it’s still green and still in small caps. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!

I’ve just realised that the heading is actually a link … so I’ve changed the colour, but the variant still won’t change. (By the way, is there a way to make the font all-caps?). I’ve also tried to make the link bold when you hover over it by using
a:hover{color:#cc0000;text-weight:bold}
but this isn’t working either …

Ummm .. no one can even begin to contemplate helping you until your posts the complete clickable URL for the blog in question starting with http://

Try this, cambarber:
h1 a { color: #f00 !important; font: normal 100% "sans serif"; text-transform: uppercase; }That should do it.
