editing home page

  This seems like it should be so simple, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to edit the home page on my site. Theme is Coraline. I clicked on All Pages and All Posts and the home page isn’t listed in either. I did manage to
  edit the “ABOUT” page successfully. What am I missing?

  The site linked to your name is wearing the Spectrum theme. Please post an active link starting with http:// for the site wearing the Coraline theme.

  Thanks time thief. What I’m coming to understand is that the “Home” page is where all posts show up until they get bumped by the latest new post which takes it’s place, whereupon the old post gets filed in archives or in a specific category. AND, if I want a static home page then I use the sticky feature to make a Welcome greeting stay in place while the current posts change as I post new ones.

  So I don’t actually edit the Home page, it is just the opening page and when I post a new post it shows up there.

  Is this correct?

  If you wish you can have the same sticky post appear on the running page for posts. Then all returning visitors will have to click through it to find your most recent post.

  Or you can create a static front

  page,

  and in that case your visitors have to click through it to locate your running page for posts and then locate your most recent post.

  Set the static page as your front page and the page you created as a running page for your posts here > Settings > Reading
