Editing Home Page

  How do I edit the home page? I need to update some information in the menu/widget below on the home page, and I don’t see it listed when I click on “Pages.” Please tell me where I can find the home page link so that I can click on it and edit the information.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1) You can’t find it because the homepage isn’t a static page like those you can create or edit in Pages, it’s just the blog front.

  2) The footer widget area isn’t part of a particular page: it’s a separate section of the blog; this section will show up no matter what page you’re viewing. Its widgets are edited in Appearance > Widgets.

  By default, homepage is the page with your latest posts. But if you go to Settings / reading at the top you will see an option to select static page as your homepage. You need to create a page called “Something” and then select it as homepage. This page can then be customised (level of customising depending on your WordPress package). I did some customisation on my blogs static page: http://crazygoblin.wordpress.com/crazy-goblin-magazine/ So if you need any more help with that let me know.
