Editing Home Page Posts Only

    My theme does not support Teaser so I want to create teaser posts in the Home page. But I’m not sure how the post editing in the Home page and the permalink page work. Can I edit the posts in Home page without causing changes in those posts in the permalink pages? I did not try to experiment doing so because I could risk losing parts of my post should I click Edit Post in the Home page.

    Anyone who knows how to do it?
