Editing home page preview for a blog post
-
I currently use the Dyad theme with my website, and my home page has a picture and the first few sentences of my blog post as a preview to click on to see more. I use affiliate links in my posts, so I always disclose that first thing in my blog posts, but then on the home page when you look at the preview you see the same sentence “Note: I may receive commissions for purchases or clicks made through links in this post” as the preview for every single post. Is there CSS I could use to have the home page preview pull from the second sentence of my post instead of the first?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t change this sort of behaviour with CSS, the simplest “fix” would be to make your disclosure sentence the second paragraph of your new posts. Or include it in a text widget in your footer.

Hi every one ,

Hi Richard,
I’ve gone ahead to answer your question on your separate thread here:

For future: Please try not bump existing threads with separate questions.
It’s easier for us to keep track of different questions if they’re kept to separate threads and also prevents the original poster from receiving unnecessary email notifications.
