  I am trying to upload the “Featured Content Gallery” but I can’t edit the text in Editor. My site is hosted by hostgator.gom. I went into the proper folders to change the permission to “777” in order to make the files writeable, but I am still unable to update text in Editor. I have the same message “make this file writable before you can save your changes” at the bottom of the page.

  Hi there – These forums provide support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Your site is a self-hosted installation of WordPress, available at http://wordpress.org/.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
