Editing Images already inserted

  I am unable to click on an inserted image, and edit it. When I click on an image, I don’t see the little photo icon or delete icon. Nothing happens. I’d love to be able to scale the photo, but I can’t access those options. Any reason why those icons wouldn’t show up when I click a photo? I’m in the visual editor when attempting to, and have reloaded the page numerous times. Thank you!

  I’m not sure why the icons don’t appear but you can get to the same image editing options by clicking on the image to highlight it, then click on the ‘Upload/Insert’ button above the toolbar. You should be able to see the image options in the ‘Gallery’ tab.

  I suspect there was a glitch in the WP system because I was having the same issue (icon missing, couldn’t edit, and no, you can’t get all the same image and link options through the gallery). I just rebooted my computer and the icons have returned to the top corner of the picture.

  Happening to me, too. Only in the last day or so. Using Chrome, might try using Firefox, see if that makes a difference.
