Editing Images for Posts
-
In trying to add an image to a post, when I click on an image in my media library to edit, I do not have the option of ‘Attachment Set-up’ where I can work on alignment and size. I only know the option is out there b/c I saw it on a support ‘how to’ word press page.

Hi there,
You can edit the image file itself and to resize, crop and rotate it which ever which you need within the Media Library edit tool. More details on how exactly this can be done can found at the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/editing-an-image/
Aligning an image within a post or page can be managed by following the directions outlined in this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/adding-images-to-posts-or-pages/
Hope this helps,
Cheers

Thanks Code. I’ll read through these links again. Wondering if it has to do with my chosen theme.

@reblaker the reason we ask for the site address is because about 30-40% of the people posting here actually need help with their WordPress (org) software and should be posting at https://wordpress.org/support
The references that @codekmyta mentioned work for sites hosted here on the WordPressdotcom platform and these support forums assist those users.
You can read about the differences at https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Let us know if you have any other question about this. Cheers!
