Editing in WordPress.
-
Every time I try to edit something in WordPress I get this message. ‘Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.’ How/what do I need to do to allow myself the ability to edit my site once again?

Hi nickhulse070218!
Would you mind sharing a link so we can assist you better?
Do you have by any chance a self-hosted WordPress.org website?
These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forum.
Difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org

It is for a WordPress.com website. The Problem started occurring ever since I added the WordPress 4.9 Update.

Thank you. According to WHOIS your website is a self-hosted WordPress.org website hosted at Bluehost. You will have to post your error in the WordPress.org forums.
