Editing is so slow!

    I have noticed that once a page on my website gets lengthy, there is a significant lag between when I type and when it shows up. This is incredibly frustrating, especially for editing mistakes, as there is no more real-time feedback for what I’ve typed. How can I fix this?

    Hey there @davisforestschool, editing speed can really depend on the memory you’ve got on your computer, and how much is going into the pages (especially if you have a bunch of videos on one page, for example.) So those types of things can be tricky to troubleshoot.

    One thing I do know is that if you’ve got a page that’s taking a long time to load in the editor, it’s also probably a rough load on mobile.

    Have you considered breaking the page into sub-pages instead? You can make one parent page, and then make a handful of child pages (1, 2, 3 for example, or subdivided by topic.)

    Or, if it’s a post, would a category work better?
