Editing links

  WP has changed the settings menu on the dashboard/admin page. I need the add and remove links from my blogroll but cannot find where to do this. Will someone please explain to me how to access and edit my blogroll. (The information accessible through help is out of date.)

  Sorry, no. Your URL takes me to information about the *old* settings menu which did indeed have an item “Links” which I have been using for years (since 2006). I am fully conversant with that.

  When I log in now, however, I am presented with a *different* settings menu which does not contain the “Links”item.

  Hi there,

  Sounds like this is in reference to the Unified Navigation update:

  If you prefer your navigation to always default to the classic WordPress look, you can navigate to https://wordpress.com/me/account and activate the option called “Dashboard appearance” as illustrated in this screenshot:

  

  We also cover this in more detail on this support guide page if you’re interested: https://wordpress.com/support/account-settings/#dashboard-appearance.

  Please note that toggling this setting will also change some of the other links on your navigation menu, but you can always deactivate this option down the road to go back to the new interface.

  Perhaps I am slow-witted or something but although I have set the link on that page, I still do not see an item “links” in the settings menu.

  How do I access the blogroll and, in general, the page for editing widgets.

  No worries, this is all new and updates are still being made from our end.
