The pop up window for inserting/editing link is only partly visible. Tried different browsers and the part OPEN LINK IN A NEW TAB is not seen. I can not see the name of the page that is linked. It was OK until a few days ago.

Hi @fotografkotowski, thanks for this — can you let us know what browser you’re using? I’m testing this in Chrome 103.0.5060.134 on Mac and am not able to duplicate this issue.
Do you see the same problem if you try another browser?
Lastly, can you get a screenshot so we can see what you’re seeing?

I presume the bug has been fixed. The problem was present during a few days – maybe a week.
But yesterday I was editing a link and it was shown correctly.
When I pointed out this problem I was trying both Firefox and Safari browsers – the pop-up window was only partly visible, not showing the linked page and the OPEN IN NEW TAB slide switch. Yesterday the pop up window was visible in whole. -

Yesterday I added a page and the pop up window was correct

Could you get a screenshot of the full browser window for more context? I can see your pop up window is getting cropped but I don’t have enough context to see what’s getting in its way. Thanks in advance.

OK, this is happening in the Site Editor only? Are you able to duplicate this if you’re at https://wordpress.com/post or https://wordpress.com/page ?
Also: I noticed the type of site you have may be better suited to blogging, just so you can feature your photos and update followers when you’ve added new ones. If you’re interested in that, let us know and we’ll see if we can help you get that started.

Site Editor – I have no links from pages or posts, do not know how to make links from pages.
Home Page has links to other pages and the pop up window was cropped during a few days, and it is still cropped when I try to edit those links. Yesterday I added a new page and the link editing was fully visible and still is. -
Got it, I think we may be able to duplicate the issue.
I think it could also be an edge case of sorts, in more ways than one: typically you wouldn’t be editing content so close to the edge of the browser window. We can get that bug filed.
In the meantime, would you be interested in converting the site to more of a photo blog that generates links for you automatically?

Well, learning how to use the present format was a pain in the back. Most programmers live in their own world and fail to explain how things can be done. I have problems fully understanding an average smartphone – there are no instructions given. Most software and digital equipment is designed for people who grew up with them and have another kind of intuition.
I do not want to start with another design – a blog (which by the way I do not know it means).Editing links on the Home Page – I have been doing it the same way since I started. The problem with cropped pop up window appeared a few days ago and I will upload another batch of pix soon and will see how it will be.

Re: simplifying this, we could likely keep the design the same and continue adding the new galleries as pages, while still automatically adding new links for you.
The advantage of adding as posts instead of pages is mainly more interactivity: friends could see when you’ve added new items, etc. But if that isn’t your preference, that’s okay.
