Editing Media

  Hi there, I am having difficulty editing my photos. Each time I try and scale down, or crop on the edit media page, it is not allowing me to save my changes. The save button is there but is not allowing me to click on it. How do I edit my photos please and thanks

  hi,

  The image editing tool does not work when your site is set to Private.
  
  @gemmacevans discovered the same at this ticket:

  Set your site to Public and the image editing tools should work.

  Hi,
  Thanks…then I have another question if you would…

  What would be the correct way of creating a site, working on it and perfecting it with images and all before I allow it to go live?
  Will making it public not allow others to see it?
  I want to create it first.

  You could make your site public but set the posts and pages you are not happy with to drafts until they are to your satisfaction.

  PS: I find it best to edit images before I upload them to WordPress.com
