Editing my content

    I have a number of pages on my site that I add content to all the time and need to be able to edit them. I’m being told ‘Update Failed’. I’m the only admin of my pages. Why can’t I edit them, and why did this seem to have occurred in the last 48 hours?

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site you’re working on?

    Make sure you have your most recent changes saved somewhere, like a text editor. Then clear your browser cache and cookies.

    Clearing cookies will log you out of any websites you’re logged into, so after doing that, log back in and try to update the page again. Let me know if it still won’t work.

    I actually figured it out. I can only edit pages with the Classic editor now, and I just wasn’t clicking on it. I was just in default mode, clicking Edit, and it wouldn’t accept my changes in the block editor.

    Have to say, and nothing personal, but I really hate the block mode. The classic mode was so very easy to use and responsive to my dynamic needs on my website, and the block mode is very much … not. It’s awful, in my view.
