Please let me know how I can edit my DNS records. On my domain page, I can’t view the settings showing the fields
Email
Name server and DNS
Contact and Transfer Domain
The support explained how I could view that page and I followed the steps, but surprisingly When I entered the Domain page setting, I can’t view the fields as indicated so that I can select Name server and DNS and do my editing. Hi @meudjecharles, you’ll only be able to edit DNS details for a custom domain, not a free wordpress.com address.
Are you trying to add a domain to that site, or redirect to a different host?

But I bought the domain bestfoodforhealth.com.I have changed to innovtechs2030.com. Can’t I access the DNS records?
1. Please I have two problems. I changed bestfoodforhealth.com to innovtechs2030.com but on the google search engine, there is no results for innovtechs2030.com and bestfoodforhealth.com is still active. Why?

Ah okay. You bought the domain but not through us, correct? And right now you’re using different name servers too.
If you’d like to map the domain to a site on our servers, and point its name servers settings to us, you’ll be able to access the DNS tools for our services.

I have tried doing that according to the info from your support site, but bestfoodforhealth.com is still active and the google research of innovtechs2030.com has no result.
How should I understand that?I try going at mywahosting.com , but it is no clear what i found, the procedure is not straightforward. I will try to contact WA and see how they can help me solve the issue. if they don’t respond accordingly, I will map the domain of my site to your servers so that Iwill be able to do my editing.

How should I understand that?When you change the address for any website it will take time for search engines to re-index your content at the new address. Only once that process completes, which can take several weeks, will the new address start appearing in search results.
With Google specifically, if you’ve verified the old address in Google Search Console, you can use their address change function in that tool to inform them that the site URL has changed, which can speed up the re-indexing process a bit.
However, note that your site is not on our platform. WordPress.com is a hosting provider, and not the same thing as the open source WordPress software with which your site is built. Your site has no connection to WordPress.com at all.

That is correct. Here, on WordPress.com, you will have full control over the site innovtechs2030.wordpress.com. To connect a WordPress site hosted elsewhere, you may install our plugin, Jetpack:
This will allow you to use our platform to design your site and publish content, however, your domain settings will still need to be managed at your registrar.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
