Editing My Site

  I’ve spent about 2 hours trying to find out how to update my existing homepage on my site. But I cannot find anywhere where I can EDIT already-existing pages. How do I change content on my homepage (and elsewhere in my site)? No-one answered the phone to talk me through this. Frustrating experience!

  WordPress is sooooo confusing—”.com” or “.org”? They say they are separate companies, yet links from one take you to the other (so they much be related).

  The site I want to edit is christiandequincey.com (at wordpress.org).

  Hi there, WordPress, the open-source software project, and WordPressdotcom, the hosted WP platform, where we are, are indeed separate entities.   Regardless, you can find help for your site using the standalone WP (org) software over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
