Editing My WordPress Initiated Emails.

  Is there a way to have just an excerpt of my blog post visible in the email that gets sent out when I publish a post? Most people are reading the entire blog post in their email but not actually clicking on it and going to the site.

  Hi there,

  Go to Settings ->Reading, and change the blog feed setting to excerpt. That setting applies to both your site’s RSS feed, and to subscription emails.

  You can also control this on a per-post basis by using the More block inside your posts, if you don’t want to apply this globally to your site.
