Editing my WordPress Theme
-
Hello!
I have recently talked my self into delving into the realm of newly announced game fansites, I noticed that a new Elder Scrolls had just been announced I jumped onto the band wagon so to speak. Now I find myself setting up the site with WordPress, but I would appreciate a little help in tweaking my theme.
I’m trying to remove the sidebar from the Twenty Ten theme I am currently using, wish I managed to do but now it seems I have a blank area where it was and the posts dont fill the new blank area. No matter what I change I cant seem to be able to make the posts go wider. Would really appreciate some help, thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If this is the blog in question > http://deamie.wordpress.com/ then there are footer sidebar areas only. There is no right hand or left hand sidebar. Themes cannot be edited on wordpress.com blogs and templates cannot be edited either. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/
The Depo Masthead theme is coded to provide three columns displaying the most recent 3 posts published. The length of the columns is determined by the longest of the three posts. If you wish to create a uniform post length then you can insert “the more tag” into each post. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

For 2010 theme, in static pages you can set the “one column no sidebar” page template from the attributes module in the page editor.
For the post style pages (home, category, tag and archive) it would require the CSS upgrade and CSS editing experience.
We really need a link to the blog that you are talking about since the one Timethief references is using DePo Masthead.

theelderscrollsv.com is a WordPress.ORG site with 2010 and gaming so they should probably take the friendly supportbot’s advice
