editing nickname and publicly displayed name

  I edited my nickname and my publicly displayed name, but the original name still appears in comments I left on other people’s blogs. Is there any way to change this?

  The change isn’t retroactive as far as I know, and it does not take effect at all in the forums. Avatars DO change retroactively, but it takes up to a couple of days.
