Editing pages

  I need to edit my pages and can’t find the button. I have watched 3 tutorials now all of which show the ‘Site Pages’ button on the dashboard but mine isn’t there!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  hi,

  Are you logged on to WordPress.com with the correct user account ?
  If you are, you should see an Edit link at the bottom of your pages.

  Hi there,

  Your username, sarahdrewwriter5, only has Author permissions on that site. Authors can create and publish posts, but you can’t edit posts created by other users, and you can’t create or edit pages. Only editor and admin-level users can do that.

  If you need to be able to edit pages, you’ll need to ask an admin user on the site to adjust your user role.

  I’ve realised you are quite right, but I have no other email address associated with the site. Could I have created two accounts with the same email address but two different passwords? I have no idea how to regain access.

  Great! sarahdrewwriter is account which owns the site and has an Administrator role, so you shouldn’t run into any restrictions now.
