Editing pages

I published my blog page and set it as the posts page. At the bottom there still is a sample post: Previous post ‘What’s on my Desk’ from the themed example. How do I get rid of that?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Can I see this on your homepage? Or is it a specific place I need to look at?
I’ve taken a look at your site but could not find “What’s on my Desk” displayed anywhere. Thanks for pointing it out!

This is how I discovered it:
I went to my blog page:
https://linesbyleon.wordpress.com/blog/
Then if I click on the title, leave a reply, or the date it takes me here:
https://linesbyleon.wordpress.com/2020/11/10/the-changing-of-the-seasons/It is at the bottom of the page.

Hmm… when I visit that link, I do not see “What’s on my Desk” mentioned. I took a screenshot of what I see for reference:
Is it the case that I see something different from what you see? I can confirm that your “What’s on my Desk” is moved to the Trash, so it should not appear on your site: https://wordpress.com/posts/trashed/linesbyleon.wordpress.com
If you are still seeing it, can you try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and see if that removes it from your end as well?

That seemed to work. I didn’t see it in the trash before, but I permanently deleted everything there.
Thanks! -
