editing php files

  I want to make changes to my blog header and need to make changes in header.php, as I dont have ftp access so i can do it nor there is editor option in appearance tab. Please suggest where i can find edit in the dashboard area to do changes in theme’s header.php

  It’s not possible to edit template files here at WordPress.com.

  That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs that run the free WordPress software that’s available at http://wordpress.org.

  Depending upon the changes you want to make, you might want to check out our Custom Design upgrade:

  Also be sure to check out the options available at Appearance -> Header in your dashboard.
