Editing Post Tags error

  “The slug “physics” is already in use by another term”
  i get this error when i wanna edit the name of one of the tags in my blog
  what’s wrong? any help?

  Double check that you do not have any terms that are duplicated between tags and categories. That will cause all sorts of issues. Since the search engines consider tags and categories to be the same thing, there is no reason to have duplication, and actually the search engines might view that as “tag spamming” and give your search engine ranking a whack.
