Editing Posts
-
I found the support page for how to Edit Posts (link below), but the visuals displayed in the how-to don’t look like what’s displayed on my screen. I’m not finding an option to edit, so how do I edit?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
When you go into your site management page and then to the “posts” section, https://wordpress.com/posts/my/thenixperience.wordpress.com, do you see a list of your blog posts? If you are logged in, you should be able to simply click on any one of those to edit them, or click on the ellipses on the right for more options.
If nothing is showing up there, either you may not be logged in correctly, or your blog posts may have been entered as site pages instead. But still, the same principle should apply.
A few of the support pages are a little out of date, perhaps because WordPress continues to grow so fast!
Please post again if you need more help. Thanks!

Let me also add ‘modlook’ in the sidebar Tags so that even the staff is aware of the visuals in the support docs.

Hi there are you talking about the site that is linked in your post which hasn’t been updated since July 2015? If you are referring to a different site please give us the site address. Thanks

@justjennifer and staff-zinnia, I think @thenixperience is talking about the screenshots in the support document https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/

Thanks @vvaibhavwagh!
@thenixperience — if you send a link to the site you are working on, we can look at why there is a difference between what you are seeing and the screenshots in our support documentation.
