Editing posts like a typical CMS
-
Is there a way to edit your posts as if it were a typical cms? I get that the posts get converted to a template, but I would like to edit to see EXACTLY what the post will look like with a specific template. This way I can do things like set the featured image position exactly how I need to. I don’t really want to have to mess around with source code (unless it’s easy lol) so I was hoping there would be like a plugin or something to help out.

Hey there,
Happy to help you with this.
Yes, this is all totally possible. To clarify, posts wouldn’t change to templates, instead posts would remain posts, and the content can be changed via Dashboard > Posts > Edit posts.
The templates, of where the featured image placement would be edited in the template would be found via Appearance > Editor.

so I was hoping there would be like a plugin or something to help out.
There are various themes and plugins that can be used to add a page builder to the site, and this can help with the site design. In order to run these themes and plugins, the business plan would be required.
What do you have in mind to build? I look forward to offering more insights.
