Editing problem (yellow highlighted)

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me.
I’ve been having the same problem for weeks and I don’t know why.
When I edit my posts in the WordPress block editor everything goes fine and I can select the color of my words as well as the highlight.
But once I post it, is highlighted in yellow in its entirety when this wasn’t the way I edited it.
It should be noted that this is only displayed when I enter my blog via the WordPress app from the cell phone, while if I enter my blog from any browser or from my computer all my posts look perfect.
Why does this happen? Is it a problem with my editor? Am I doing something wrong? Or does it have to do with the app?WP.com: Yes

I’ve visited abookathoughtblog.wordpress.com in my WordPress app (iPhone 12) and for me your site appeared as normal when I took a look in there.
Is this an issue that affects all post? Or just certain ones? Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end?

I’ve noticed this happening from the WordPress app since WordPress updated the editor a couple of weeks ago and added the “highlight” option.

Hmm, that’s interesting. I checked your site from my Android app, and I also saw the yellow highlights.
There is a bug that could be related to what you see; however, I’m puzzled as to why it’s only limited to the mobile app in your case. Can you confirm that you’re also using the Android app?
Also, have you edited the colors/highlights on the posts in question, or the changes are completely random?

I know, right? I thought the same, it could be a bug. Yes, I’m using my Android app.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but I edit my posts %100 from my computer, not from the app and when doing so, I do use the options to change the color of the letters.
I found that when I don’t edit colors/highlight everything appears yellow by default, even on my page viewing it normally from a browser or computer.
While when I edit it with black letters and white background everything looks perfect except when I use the phone, more precisely the app (as shown in the screenshots) -
Thanks for all the details.
Could you try editing any of the affected posts – no significant changes are necessary; I just want you to save the post, and check if the highlights still appear in the app.
The underlying issue causing the bug was fixed, but the posts need to be edited and saved for the fix to work. Let’s see if that helps or if the Android app just doesn’t recognize those changes.

I tried, in one post I changed only some small things and in another one I tried to do it all over again, but it continues to appear this way, I attach again screenshots of now to update, but sadly it has not changed.
1. This way you can see the thumbnail from the app when the post is closed.
2. This way the post is seen when it is open after clicking on the link from the app.
3. And this is how it looks from the page, which is where you can see it perfectly without errors.

One thing I noticed is that I do see yellow text in the browser, if I go to this link for your most recent post (in the WordPress.com Reader view)

You mentioned that things appear to be normal to you in the browser, so I’m hoping you can confirm, if you go to that link you see the yellow text color same as I do?

What you see in the screenshot I opened it also from the app, specifically in the “Reader” part, when I go directly from Google (for example) is there when it looks perfect.
