Editing side bar HTML code

  I noticed that some WP sites have modified templates and unique content. Is there a way to modifiy the template HTML code?

  I think that depends on the template. Have you already tried fiddling around with the sidebar widgets that are available with some templates?

  Yes, I’ve tried different templates. I have seen other WP.com pages with the same templates that I’ve tried but modified.

  Chances are you’re looking at some of the custom installs that staff has done like Scooby’s. These were personal invites at the start of the alpha testing. Those are special cases.
