  If I want to control the way an image looks on post should I use an image block instead of a featured image?

  Hi there!

  Generally speaking, yes. The Image block will give you more control when it’s used on pages and posts. The featured image’s appearance differs based on the theme you use. Some themes will allow you to change the featured images’ appearance and other aspects, but they are universal (apply to all posts/pages).

  So, for individual images on posts and pages, using the Image block is the right way.
