Editing Slugs

  Hello.

  This is my blog: The View from Fish in a Barrel Pond

  I have downloaded and been reading the new ebook “Grow Your Traffic, Build Your Blog” (thanks to everyone at WordPress who put it together!) and have a question about changing slugs to eliminate extra words as part of SEO.

  If I change the slug (the last bit of a post’s URL) of a previously published post does it mess up links already pointed to that post, or should I just leave the old stuff alone and put this trick to use only on new posts before publishing?
