editing “Something about me” text

  I am trying to change the default text in the “something about me” section of the home page of my blog. I have checked in every setting in my admin and added text to the part of my user profile called “biographical info.” It stays as the default information, though.

  Where do I go to edit that information?

  You mean the about-page?
  When you are logged in and go to the about page, do you not see a “edit this entry” at the bottom of the default text?

  If not, you can go to dashboard -> manage -> pages and edit from there.
