Editing text?
-
So i have a personal plan, if i upgrade to a premium plan will i get the ability to edit font size/type, and install plugins?
currently copying and pasting into wordpress from openOffice writer i get issues.
I presuming its because of the tags openOffice uses.Is there a free option to avoid upgrading to premium?
Like using a pure text editor that doesnt use tags and copying and pasting it into wordpress from there?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Sadly, only sites with the Business Plan can upload custom plugins. However, all sites do get access to some plugins automatically.
Learn more: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
There are also some incompatible plugins to be aware of which cannot be used on WordPress.com entirely. Those are listed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incompatible-plugins/
In regards to editing font size, yes, that can usually be done using CSS, which is offered on the Premium Plan.
As staff-zinnia mentioned though, it may be best to work directly in the WordPress.com editor. In that thread, you said you solved the issue, but you also can view alternatives here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/
Let us know if you have any further questions or issues. :)

I have been using WordPress for my site for a while, but I do not like the new interface for editing. I do not need things in boxes but simple text listing was perfect. Fortunately I have managed to change back to the old way of editing but don’t change things just for the sake of it

@sharonmawer If you’re running into any issues, please create your own thread instead: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1
I just wish to assure you that you’ll almost certainly be able to still use the Classic Editor in the future, even if you don’t prefer Gutenberg. See this message from this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/information-on-gutenberg-implementation/
The classic editor should also still be available, and it should be possible to edit a Gutenberg post in the classic editor, just like it currently is in Core, and will be via the Classic Editor plugin once Gutenberg becomes the default there.
