Editing the display size of an image has been dumbed down and is now restricted
-
The new editing interface has now been dumbed down with respect to the display size of the image you put in. I now have ‘+’ and ‘-‘ instead of the possibility to set a specific size. This is overly restrictive. My images are diagrams that I need to tweak to be readable. But the ‘-‘ or ‘+’ jump over the required size. So, it gets ugly or it gets unreadable.
Which means that now I have to go into HTML mode, find the image there and change the width. This is a huge step back from the earlier possibility to edit the display size of the image.
Can I get the old interface back please?

Can I get the old interface back please?
No that’s not possible.
That’s a known issue with the new editor https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/editor-feedback?replies=749 but that issue does not exist in the classic editor.
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
To create posts in the classic editor for you that link ishttp://masteringarchimate.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing.
