Editing the Home Page

  Hi –

  I made a boob somehow, not really sure how. Anyway, on my home page it says “Not Found
  Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.” How can I replace this with text that I want?

  That is what happens when you delete the post that comes on the install. Unless I am missing something Jess, just create a new post and it should go back to looking the way you wanted!

  Go to create

  Make a new post! Save it and voila!

  One more thing, it seems you have no categories. You might want to go to MANAGE => Categories and create one for your posts as well!

  Last thing, do you want a page to show up as the home page? IF so, go to ADMIN => OPTIONS => somewhere in their is the option to have a page you created as the home page.

  OK…I had this same problem….

  I”ve now created a static page, and found the Admin options to let me have it set as my homepage. But I can only do that if the static page is Published…and if it’s Published, a tab for that page also appears on the front page. In other words, this page now appears twice, as the home page, and as another tabbed page.

  Can I publish the page wthout a tab appearing for it?

  Even then, you still couldn’t remove it unless you removed all of the tabs.
