Editing the Name of the 'Home' Page as it Appears in the Footer
-
I would like to change the word ‘home’ as it appears in the header of my blog to ‘Professional Statement.’
Here is a link to my blog for reference: http://rahmanqureshidesign.wordpress.com/
I spent a long time googling and looking for some editor option under appearance so I can manually change it but to no avail. I think it is a pay only option and it is part of the theme.
Is this correct or is there a way to change it? I ask because a different theme I saw had it changed and I’m quite sure that they did not pay.
What I did so far:
Created a new page called ‘Professional Statement.’
Under Settings -> Readings changed ‘Front Page Displays’ to static page and selected professional statement. But as you can see, the header still links ‘home’ to this page. I would not like this.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The link to your homepage is labelled “Home” no matter what you’ve set your homepage to display. If you want to re-label it, you need to use a custom menu. See this post of mine for details:
