editing the original theme wordpress.com provides

    I tried to turn the background from white to black, so I used the following code:

    #page {
    background-color: black;
    }

    #header {
    background: #000000;
    }

    I`ve put it in the editor or wordpress, and kept the “Add this to the Kubrick theme’s CSS stylesheet” option as it is.

    But What turns out is only a black solid square (no curves or anything, just as If I`ve started from the scratch).

    So how can I just keep the theme or template just as it is, but changing the background from “white” to “black”?

    Link to your wordpress.COM blog?

    And I can tell you – Kubrick is a really strange theme and hard to work with.

    palein.wordpress.com
    this is it.
    (But sorry, what is that for, I mean its just the same theme on all the blogs, anywayy.)

    I think your blog is here http://palein.wordpress.com/ Doesn’t look like you have the CSS upgrade.

    Also – if you are going to get the CSS upgrade, you are probably better off using Sandbox and the Kubrick theme that was ported over for it.

    By the way – curves are usually the result of images.

    The reason for needing the link to your blog is to find out whether you are hosted here at wordpress.COM or elsewhere. We get a lot of questions from wordpress.ORG users and since we use different software here, our answers don’t apply.
