Editing the ‘single posts page’
-
At the top my single posts page is a larger version of an image on my blog page. When clinking on an individual blog, this large version is at the top of the singe page. I would like to reduce the size of the image or take the image off. But I cannot find anything on the side editor that would do this. And quite honestly I am not sure how this larger image got there in the first place.

I need help editing the ‘single posts page’. I cannot find anywhere on/in the site editor to reduce the size of the picture. Everything else is the way I want it. But when someone clinks on an individual post, there is a large picture at the top of the page. I honestly do not know how that large image got there. It is a larger version of the one I set at the top of my list of posts. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
Have you checked that is not set as your default featured image when you edit your post?
It wouldn’t show in the edit page. But if you click on the gear icon and scroll down to featured image, you can see if you have one.
(Maybe this is too obvious and you’ve tried it)
If so, please let us know so we can help you further.
Good luck! -
You already got answered several months ago, https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/image-above-post/

Hey there, just noting I’ve merged your more recent threads into one.
I answered before, so if you can share more info about how you want the single page image to work, we can make recommendations.

I think the problem is where I post each blog entry. Somehow I have a featured image that appears above each post. And I cannot figure out how to remove it or at least resize it. I have pasted a link (I think) to show you what I mean. As I have said before, I have no idea how this large image got set. Thank you in advance.

Hello there,
Ok, so it looks this can be removed from the single post page template and this can be removed from this page here:
I hope this helps.
