Hi there,
I’m not sure I understand.
Can you describe in a bit more detail what’s happening here? It might also help if you can take a screenshot of what you’re seeing on your end. Upload that to your media library, and we’ll be able to see it there.

When I try to write a new blog post and enter the title the words in the title section don’t stop where I want them to. They words continue to say in the title line and than move down into the body of the post.
I’ll write another post and take a screenshot and upload it to my library.

I was able to upload the screenshot to my media library.
The screenshot is dated June 3. 2022.Also what was happening before is not happening now.
It looks like there is something wrong with the GUI to the Editor as it is not allowing me to add a title. And when the title does work, the text runs longer in the title bar longer than it should: then jumps down into the body of the blog post.
Trying to give you as much information and details as I can.
Thanks -
Hi,
What browser are you using? Does it happen if you try a different browser? Are you using any browser extensions? Can you try disabling them and seeing if that changes things?
-
I am using Firefox. With Firefox I’m using the Gnome Extensions.
I don’t know how to disable the Gnome Ext. and doing so may interfere as I am running Linux not Windows.I haven’t tried another browser; however, I can try Opera as I do have that installed.
I’ll let you know if using Opera helps. -
Great news!
Launching the Opera browser works for me.
As soon as I choose to write a new blog post the title was were it should have been. The version of Firefox that Debian Linux uses doesn’t have what I need to make a blog post so I will use Opera from now on.
Thanks for your time and help.

@catsartpics thank you for letting us know! We’ll see if we can get our linux-using colleagues to take a look. Just to confirm, what version of Firefox were you running there?
I was wondering if you might be seeing a thing where a longer title stops looking like a title, but if it’s working fine in Opera, fabulous.

You’re welcome-
The Firefox version that I’m using in Debian 11 is 91.10 ESR.
When you have time please let me know what your Linux colleagues had to say.
Thanks

You’re welcome.
Try not to forget as I would like to here what the Linux men have to say as it will help me and others in the future.

Hi there,
According to my colleage who has more expertise in Linux, the Firefox version in ESR is kind of out of date, and may not reflect the most recent changes that have been made to the browser on other platforms. With this in mind you may want to try the Flathub version here instead: https://wiki.debian.org/Firefox#From_Flathub
Another workaround would be to use a different browser, such as Opera which you mention seems to not have this issue.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for getting back to me.
The confirmation that you gave me from your Linux college sounds right. Thanks for the link to FF from Flathub.
