Editing the visualization of theme cubic
-
Hi, in the Cubic theme, I wanted to add social media icons and login using social media to the masthead. Also I wanted to use the box like presentation of the theme home page for the pages, and use the presentation of the home page for the theme.
Can anyone guide me how it can be accomplished by editing the code? Please let me know.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The site https://amitpathakofficial.wordpress.com/ has the Lodestar theme applied. Are you referring to that site or another?
I wanted to add social media icons and login using social media to the masthead.
What do you mean by “masthead.” I various forum topics members have referred to the header image, site logo, and menu as the “masthead.”
The Cubic theme guide indicates that there is a “Social Menu” available on the theme, but the location of the social links menu (aka the “Social Menu”) is in the footer area, as can be seen on any page or post of the Cubic demo.
What do you mean by “login using social media?”
Also I wanted to use the box like presentation of the theme home page for the pages…
That’s not possible. The titled format of the blog page on Cubic is only for the blog page and archives pages. There’s no CSS code that will allow you to apply that format to static pages.
and use the presentation of the home page for the theme.
Not sure what you mean by that.

I forgot to provide a link to the Cubic theme guide. The Social Menu section of that page provides a link to the Add a Social Links Menu support page.
Another option is the Social Icons Widget.

You’re welcome.
Another correction:
“The tiled format of the blog page on Cubic is only for the blog page and archives pages.”
