Editing titles of posts

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,
I don’t seem to be able to edit the title of the post. When I add in the Title block it gives no option to edit it. All it will say is, ‘Add Title’ or ‘No Title’

    Please help
    Thank you,
    Tianna

    Hi,

In a post editor, the title isn’t in a block, it’s in a special title field separate from the content where the blocks would go. You edit a post title directly in that field, by, for example. 1.) highlighting the text and deleting some or all of it, replacing the deleted text with other text either pasted or typed in, 2.) placing the cursor at the end of the text and holding the backspace key to erase some or all of the text, replacing it as in example #1.

If you add a title block, then now you’ve got two titles, one in the field above the content and another in the content.

    Tianna,

Which block are you referring to as the “Title block”? If you’re referring to the Post Title Block within the Query Loop Block, then please confirm. I’m not really familiar with the Query Loop Block and the many elements within it, so I’ve called for staff attentions to the topic. Staff will respond here.

  • Which specific post are you working on? Can you share the title or URL?
