Editing website heading: adding link to followers re new posts ?

  I would like to edit my website heading to add my blog name if possible. Also I would like a link to allow followers to receive an email each time I post a new piece of writing. How can I do these two things? I clicked the edit links on my website and could not get anything to change.
  I originally set up a most basic website on 27 November 2015 as I was not sure I would stay long after a ho – hum time on Tumblr. My followers are increasing and I am having good dialogues with some of them. I am reluctant to do anything that might lose them. Also I want them to be able to continue accessing all my previous writings. So I am reluctant to update or change my website more than necessary.
