editing widgets since block editor was introduced

My site’s old now so I set up the widgets at the sides with the old editor. I was familiar with that & hadn’t needed to change anything. Some of the videos are dead now though & I need to delete them. However I cannot pull up that old widget editing view or if I use the block one the video widgets don’t appear. The dead video is on the live page (with messages saying the video no longer available) but I can’t see it in the editor. Can someone please help. Thanks.

Looking at the news page, firstly on the left side (I can never remember which is the primary side bar etc!) … starting from the top the first video now ‘dead’ is directly beneath the ‘archives’ widget, that I have titled on the page ‘YOU ARE THE EXPERIMENT!-MUST WATCH’.The next video further down is directly beneath an article link titled ‘Still Undecided?’. I’ve titled the video “CARDIOLOGIST: “THE BIG LIE ABOUT HCQ”
On the other (right hand) side bar directly above the video widget titled “What is Agenda 21, now Agenda 2030?” is a video titled “DR R FUELLMICH WARNS RE CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY – A MUST WATCH”
Another widget, that of the FB connection to the associated FB page now no longer shows the FB image, just the wording ‘EnvirowatchRangitikei on FB’ (linked)
On the Home Page there is a video on the right side bar directly below the image widget about democracy & tyranny, it is another dead YT video titled ‘5G & what you are NOT being told’.
So those are the ‘no longer available’ videos.
However, going forwards, in order to edit the remaining widgets myself, (and I need to edit or remove a lot of those) should I be switching to block editor? Will that enable me to edit those previously added widgets under classic editor?When I currently try to edit I seem only able to see the image widgets. Google translate for example tells me ‘no preview available’. The ‘Recommended Sites’ widget is the only one I could successfully see & edit. At first some of them appear to be loading but they actually don’t. The spaces end up blank.

I removed all those dead YouTube videos and fixed the Facebook widget.
To remove more legacy widgets, you can do so from the Block List View. Opening the list view will show you all your widgets (block and legacy ones), and you’ll be able to better manage them. Here’s a screenshot showing how to access the List View:

Hi fstat, thanks for your help. Unfortunately though the FB widget remains the same & there is still a dead video on the home page, right column/side bar.
I have just tried editing to add the now missing ‘follow this blog’, ‘sign up’ etc & the ‘google translate’. Also the ‘archives are gone’ and ‘recent posts’… (left side bar).
I’m unable to continue just now but will return in the morning to have another attempt. I probably need to look at the training info & start right from scratch. (I confess I preferred the old editing… was much simpler to understand). However, thank you again.

update: have managed by the looks to restore some of those. I will concentrate tomorrow & get up to speed with the changes. Thanks.
