Editing Widgets via the new dashboard

There seems to be a problem editing widgets via the new dashboard, i.e., they can’t be edited. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Hi there, could you please let me know which widget you’re trying to edit, and what kind of trouble you’re running into exactly so we can investigate?
Just for example – are you trying to change the title of the Recent Posts widget but it doesn’t save, it reverts to a blank field?

Hi kathrynwp. Thanks for your reply. I am unable to edit any widget. They list in the dashboard, but none open.

Hi there, it looks like you may have inadvertently activated Accessibility Mode. I’ve deactivated it, and your widgets should work normally again. Please let me know if you still encounter any issues. Thakns!

It looks like your site may be resetting itself to use accessibility mode. We are still investigating, but you here’s how to disable accessibility mode. On the widgets page, click the Screen Options tab at the top right. Then, click “disable accessibility mode.”

You’re welcome. The problem seems to be isolated to a few particular accounts and our developers are investigating. I’ll keep you posted here.
