Editing window size in new editor
-
Hi there. I was advised to start a new thread about the size of the editing window in the new editor. It’s the main thing that is putting me off using the new editor (although there are other things, such as not being able to copy a post, and I couldn’t figure out how to make a post sticky).
I am using a PC to connect to the internet and wordpress.com, with Chrome 41.0.2272.101, a browser size of 1920 x 955 and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The new editor looks like this: http://snag.gy/isRWD.jpg
The classic editor looks like this: http://snag.gy/zTZvt.jpgAs you can see, it’s a much narrower editing window, and I couldn’t find any way to stretch it.
I will continue using the classic editor for the time being – I much prefer the way it works and hope it remains a feature of wordpress.com.
Thanks.

Hello! The narrower editing window is part of the design. There’s no way to change this.
and I couldn’t figure out how to make a post sticky
You can do this in the Advanced Settings dropdown:

Thanks. Thst’s a shame about the editing window. I’ll definitely be sticking with the classic editor in that case. Cheers!
