Editing WordPress site when domain server not yet pointed to
-
I would like to work and design a fully functional wordpress site on a bluehost hosting account. “Only” once that wordpress site works and the design on it is done, only then I will switch the domain server to point to the bluehost hosting servers.
How can I access and work on the wordPress site, while the domain name server is not pointing to bluehost hosting servers ? Is there a temporary ip address that can be used in order to log-into the wordpress backend site ?
Any suggestion would be appreciate.
Thanks,
MipsThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello, Bluehost can provide you with your site’s temporary URL that you can use to access your website until the new name servers are propagated. It may be visible in your account’s control panel or in the welcoming email they sent you.
Also, if need be you can temporarily change the URL of your blog inside Settings -> General so you can find all the posts and pages on your new webhost using the temporary URL.

Be aware that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
