  I clicked on something at some point that changed how I am able to write a post. Now my only view options when writing a post is “visual” and “html” in either a condensed box or a full size box. I can no longer change text color or size and for the life of me I can’t change it back!

  Go to Posts > All posts and hover over the title of the post and click the edit link.

  In the Visual editor to display the second row of icons, click the toolbar toggle icon https://i2.wp.com/en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/kitchensink.png

  In the Visual editor Row 2 click https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#text-color

  Thank you timethief!

  The view still looks different than I had it before but this will work! The “thing” that I accidently clicked was at the very top of my draft, outside of the actual text box. I’m thinking maybe it was the classic editor versus how it looks now? Either way, this obviously works just fine.
