editing/saving feature in posting; text preferences

Hi–after publishing a post, I discovered a coding error that needed correction. I went into the managing area, retrieved the post, corrected and saved it. My question: will this edited/saved post be automatically republished to my subscribers? Is there a way to do a simple edit, save it, and NOT have it published to your email subscribers?

One other question: in order for subscribers to receive full text in their emails, must i check the box “full text” and NOT the “summary” checkbox? This then means that feed readers will also see it in full text and I prefer they get it in “summary” format – but there is no way to do separate preferences for email subscribers and feed readers, is there?

    thanks
    peggie

No, it will not be sent out to email subscribers unless you change the permalink URL, or change the date of the post.

Yes, you need to check “full text”. There is no way to have email subscriptions show full and RSS show summary since the stuff for the email is pulled from your RSS feed by feedburner.
